A most rapid and cost-effective repair service for Fanuc CNC products in Scotland will be provided by MCE (Machine Control Engineers) under a new agreement with Fanuc GE CNC UK.

Fanuc GE CNC UK Limited has announced an agreement with MCE (Machine Control Engineers) under which MCE will provide the most rapid and cost effective repair service for Fanuc CNC products in Scotland Based in Glasgow, MCE has achieved 25 years of sustained growth providing service support to the Machine Tool Sector

Manager-Product Services for Fanuc GE CNC UK, Ian Warren, explained: “We are delighted that MCE, with the largest team of multi-skilled machine tool engineers in Scotland, will carry out service work on our behalf.

MCE service engineers have been undergoing extensive training with us on all our latest CNC products so as to maintain their reputation for having a high skill set and a high First Time Fix rate”.

He continued: “This partnership will drastically decrease downtimes for users in Scotland: MCE will respond to calls with a full complement of Fanuc manufactured spares, reducing time to diagnose problems and ensuring the customer only pays for the parts that have actually failed”.

MCE’s sales director, Brian Reidy, commented: “MCE is now offering to Fanuc GE CNC users - service contracts, bonded stores, parts only contracts, control enhancements by enabling CNC features as well as other solutions, such as CNC retrofitting, that will ensure their increased productivity”.
